Did anyone experience similar situation and end up pregnant?

My husband and I have been ttc since July. Up until this past cycle we were doing the deed every other-every two nights. However, this month we just went with the flow. My last period was Oct 28 with my cycles varying in length. Since tues Nov 25, I have waken up around 5 am feeling nauseous, and it came back a couple times during the day but nothing serious. However, I woke up this morning, about 20 mins ago actually vomiting. I tested on Weds Nov 26 but got a negative. Has anyone experienced sickness before getting a positive test? Im not trying to jump the gun and besides this sickness, I just had a strange feeling/thought 2-3 weeks ago that I was pregnant. But up until tues I didnt physically feel different just a weird thought/feeling I guess.
