Divorce in the Military?

long story short, we had an arguement amd it got physical i have since moved home with our son. i went to the legal department on the marine base before and got divorce papers but because i am not there i cannot be the petitioner. Has anyone got a divorce in the military and able to give me some info?? and info on how to find a lawyer? thanks
