I'm connecting my Xbox360 to a linksys network I found using an adapter. Any issues I need to worry about?

You'll need to get a PhD in astronomy to be an astronomer (or better yet, a PhD in physics) and that graduate program will require a lot of physics and math. You'll need to learn that in college. I suggest contacting a professor in the program and asking if the program will prepare you for graduate school, because there's not much you can do in astronomy with only a BS. If it won't, you could always apply to colleges in the US instead, where you can learn the math you need in college and then take whatever major you want.

My puppy is still biting us!! What can we do now to stop it?

I got a puppy at the age of 6 weeks old, she was timid and quiet at first, but when she got her bearings she starting being VERY hyperactive and biting anything or anyone in the way of her path. I posted about it before and i got some really good advice, i tried a lot of the advice i was giving but none of it seems to be working. She has just had her last vaccination done so maybe when i can start walking her she will have less pent up energy around the house. Swiss k-31 Rifle for 199 bucks g/vg condition...is it a good deal?

My 99 crown vic has me stumped help please?

i have a 99 crown vic that sputters then eventually stalls when the a/c is on or im trying to go up a hill at a cruise speed i have replaced the fuel filter and checked the tps and maf and the are working also the check engine light is not on and i have done a tune up about 8 months ago . after it stalls if i put it in neutral and shut it off then restart it it runs just fine for a few miles then starts acting up again

New computer going really slow?

I got a laptop at Christmas, and it was fine until about February, but then it started going painfully slow. I am using genuine windows vista home premium. I have 2gb of memory (ram) and a dual core processor, my 160gb hard drive still has 80gb left. It really is slow, it can't even play videos without lagging pathetically. I won't do your homework for you, but consider this. The conservation of momentum means that any momentum lost by one object must be gained by some other object that it interacted with. Ignoring the water the log and lumberjack are floating on (which is a big umption, not one that would give accurate results in real life,) any change in the lumberjack's momentum would have to affect the momentum of the first log in the opposite way. Once the lumberjack is on the second log, his momentum would simply be distributed to him and the log. Hope that helps! The cats I have now are 3-5 years old and one's 12. The longest I've had a cat live was 19. His mom was a Manx and his dad an alley cat and he was strong and healthy up till just a month or so before he died of kidney failure. Congrats at your 19 1/2 year old. Why won't my cat leave me alone!!!?

My cats are the same way. One cat is 10 years old and one cat is 1 1/2 years old and they're both very clingy, especially the 10 year old. She was like my first baby and my mom thinks that she knows I'm pregnant so she's getting jealous and is trying to spend all her time with me. She's not allowed in the dining room but nowadays she sneaks in and will jump on one of the chairs and sit at the dining table with me. If I don't brush and play with her for 30 mins a night she sits by the gl door in her room and will wait for me. I feel bad because she's my first baby lol. The 1 1/2 year old is a little more feisty and if anyone gets near my belly he will scratch or bite them. Like he's protecting me and baby or something. Try just spending more waking hours with your cat and she may be less clingy. Also, animals have feelings too. Hows does a guy like me get involve in quality community service programs?

it doesnt seem that a person like me who is very determined to doing something good like joining americorp or peace corp cause i applied for several americorp programs and dont seem to get accepted cause i dont have experience even though i have great desire to be apart of something special and something i can be proud of and im willing to do any kind of training they ask me to do and go to any location at all but i guess having pion and desire doesnt do it cause i applied for americorp like crazy, had one phone interview and some interest from another one and ignored by alot and accepted by none. Even programs with not so good financial benefits where the stipend wouldnt be enough and id have to get a second job doesnt seem to want to accept me even though i would be willing to do that. so my question is where does a pionate guy who has desire to be apart of this and am not in the position to go to college to get experience. to me i would think that a program that doesnt have good financial benefits and dont give you much to live on and youd have to get a 2nd job, it would seem to me that they shouldnt be so picky but they must be so what does a guy like me do? how do i get involved in this with no experience?

okay so i recently well awhile ago started working at starbucks,. on my review i recieved a nine cent raise which i feel was not adequate. i later learned people who were far less good workers than me recived a 18 cent raise. my boss has not liked me since day one and other people have noted to me that she doesnt like me and has beef with me. i have never been promoted though i feel i am a better employee than many others that have been promoted. i am one of the strongest members of the team.. and yet my boss felt she had to low ball me in my review. i have no idea why she doesnt like me but my guess is that she is froma very poor background and i am not. i had a very well paying job before and am well travelled have a nice car etcetera. anyways i am definately singled out. this manager is a bad manager as well that has multiple times been trheatened for her mistreatment of employees. can any one give me feedback or let me know im not the only one?

I just purchase Sculpey clay from target just 10 minutes ago. I brought it home, unpackaged it and took out the "so-called-clay." The Sculpey clay was all dried up and flakey and did not hold together. The instructions said the knead the clay until soft and smooth, but the Sculpey doesn't even stick together! I still have the receipt in my hands. Can I complain and get a full refund from Target?

Alright. I'm a mechanical engineering student at RIT. I just finished my second year and by the end of the summer I'll have enough credits to be a fourth year student. I didn't come in with any AP, I've just taken extra courses every quarter. For two years straight now, I have gotten all A's and have a ulative GPA of 4.0/4.0. The worst part is, it wasn't that difficult. So, what I'm wondering is, should I go for a more prestigious university? It's not that I don't love RIT, because I do. It's great. But it's not a big name school just yet and I think I just might be able to handle something a bit bigger. What do you think?

Name of animated Stop Motion opera?

I was wondering if somebody could help me find the name of this weird stop motion animation opera. This isn't recent at all I have been thinking about this ever since the day I saw it which was many many years ago, and recently I thought I'd try asking here. Many years ago when I was a kid this was like maybe around 1995 or 1998, I went on a trip to mexico with my grandma and mom, we stopped for the night in a city I can't remember where maybe like chihuahua or something or mexico city and we stayed at this hotel. It was a very nice hotel like a moderate one like a four seasons or something, not like some crappy little motel 6 or something. Anyways we we're staying the night and I was watching tv in the hotel room the next morning when I was flipping channels and I came across this weird animated stop motion thing on one of the channels so I started to watch it, I don't know if it was a short or a movie, or what it was but it was at least as long as one full opera song if that makes sense. Anyways basically there's this stop motion built city, it was like underground or I don't know but there was no sky it was just a black sky, and the homes we're like made out of stone like reminiscent of ancient italy or something like that, but the city was empty and there was just this stop motion character dressed up in the garb of the time like ancient opera italian clothes wandering around the city singing this opera song, I have no Idea what it was called or what song it was but I can guarantee it was an opera song, and he was just wandering around this empty city singing this opera song, he seemed sad and so did the song. Now even back then in 1995 or 1998 this stop motion short looked like it could have been made in the 80's or I could be wrong I don't know. Like I said, I was in mexico at the time when I'd seen this so if that helps..I've tried looking it up but have come up empty handed. I know this isn't much information to go on, actually none at all, just vague descriptions..and honestly I don't expect anyone to know the answer to this question, I know I'll probably never know what it was I saw that day, I've accepted that, but just maybe someone out there does have an answer for me. How to prep aquarium water?

I have a 10-gallon tank with 2 crayfish and 5 fish that my dad caught in the river and decided to put into the tank (yes, this aquarium sounds a bit questionable, but bear with me). It's almost time for a water change. I know I'm supposed to use the gravel vacuum to clean the tank and remove the 10 - 15% water. But how do I go about replacing the water? Do I pour tap water in the tank, and immediately put the chlorine remover in (how would I estimate how much remover I put in? The instructions on the bottle only pertain to 10-gallons of water, not one or one-and-half-gallons (10-15%))? Do I just have a 10-gal bucket of pre-prepared water and use that over the weeks (I really don't have the storage or strength to keep and carry a 10-gal bucket of water every week)?

It is a retelling of the Arthurian legend based more on history than fantasy, set in Britain around 500 A.D., right after the Roman pullout. The first book of the series is The Skystone. When should I buy air ticket to japan?

Despite a few posts on here prices do go both up and down. When I went to japan a few weeks ago, I bought my tickets about 5 months in advance. Between the purchase date and my flight date the price of the airfare did drop a little (ie approx $50-100), before going back up again. With that said most of the time prices will go up, especially when it gets closer to flight time. Although there may be a sale or something that will have lower prices, it is much more likely that the price will keep going up. Also the longer you wait the less chance you will have of getting 2 seats next to each other if you are traveling with someone. I personally recommend booking sooner than later and not risk of waiting for a better price.

My husband and I have been ttc since July. Up until this past cycle we were doing the deed every other-every two nights. However, this month we just went with the flow. My last period was Oct 28 with my cycles varying in length. Since tues Nov 25, I have waken up around 5 am feeling nauseous, and it came back a couple times during the day but nothing serious. However, I woke up this morning, about 20 mins ago actually vomiting. I tested on Weds Nov 26 but got a negative. Has anyone experienced sickness before getting a positive test? Im not trying to jump the gun and besides this sickness, I just had a strange feeling/thought 2-3 weeks ago that I was pregnant. But up until tues I didnt physically feel different just a weird thought/feeling I guess.

I'm not sure what you could do in Osaka besides going to Osaka-jo koen. It's a nice place there especially during Sakura season. There are many places near Osaka that you can go. Tatoeba- Mino~san, (Mino Mountain) Rokko~san (Rokko Mountain). You can also go visit the burial site in Suita. I guess it depends on what you want to be doing. There are more parks near the Takarazuka area. There is a dog park (not just an off leash area, but they have shows and everything) near Takarazuka as well.

I want to make picture frames for Christmas gifts, but when I make them completely out of Sculpey they crack, and it can also get cost prohibitive to buy that much clay. I love exploring the world of instruments and would like help finding the next one to try out. I prefer woodwinds and strings, though I'll try absolutely anything. I have a 1987 honda prelude that is carbuarated and its automatic transmission. Every time I step on the accelerator something from the engine sqeeks really loud. I've had my timing belt, power steering belt, and water pump changed last year. It happens when I rev the engine while in park and when I am in D4 (normal driving) when I come from a dead stop all the way up to second gear. After that, the squeak subsides until I have to start from a dead start.

Name ideas for my short story?

I'm writing a short story about a young Albertan boy named Owen. After the First World War broke out, Owen's father had to go and fight. He returned physically unharmed, but not psychologically. While his father suffers from post traumatic stress, Owen takes it upon himself to make money for his family. His family survived on inheritance left by his grandparents, but it wasn't enough. He goes through many hardships, but knows it's worth it when he comes home to his younger sisters smiling face. He later finds out his relatives want him and his family to move to Vancouver so they can take care of them. Unfortunately they can't care for his father, so Owen decides he won't leave his father behind. His younger sister ends up catching the Spanish Influenza and Owen learns to let go of his emotional attachment to his father. Hello, my wife and I are finishing up our bachelor degrees and know that there is no good jobs in our town once we finish (also the heat and lack of scenery is killing us). We would like to move next year (eventhough we will not finish our degrees until the following year) ) to either Everett, Bellevue, Tacoma or Olympia (we eliminated seattle because we prefer not to live in a big city). We can transfer at our current jobs to any of the cities listed above but after a little research cannot make a decision. We do have small children and would like a place that meets their needs such as: is safe, has plenty of shopping and outdoor activities nearby, good schools, not tons of traffic when travelling (as little as possible at least), and somewhere with a view (a scenic town). If you could recommend a city and give me a few reasons on why you like that town I would greatly appreciate it and would be forever in your debt. Thank you

When we are gone our 2yr. old golden ret. stays inside. And while we are gone he gets into our groceries on the shelf and pulls them out, tears them up, and eats it. I've climbed all towers and save all citizens etc. but there is no sign of the marker for my new mission. Damascus, Jerusulum and Acre are all marked with a cross on exiting but I can find no mission in each of the towns. I went back to the Master but there is no mission there. Could i have seen a wildcat?

See, yesterday, when i was going to my bus stop, i saw this brown cat. Its fur was shiny dark-gold brown. It struck me as different because the way it was walking i had never seen any other cat walk before. It walked so slowly; i dont know how to explain it but it was weird. It underside was almost touching the ground even though it wasnt bending or leaning downward. I guess it had a tall body. It was bigger than the average housecat but not by much. It looked at me briefly and then walked away behind someone's house. The first thing that came to my mind was mountain lion but, in Jersey? and then its tail was like a u-shaped curve, but it was low to the ground too. Could it have been a wildcat or just a weird breed of domestic cat ive never seen before/you've heard about?

So there are conflicting listings in my file that my new ob gyn has. I just thought that they were taking a quick history and included the recent meds I was taking in the past year. I weened self off of insulin prior to learning I was pregnant by several months. I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic at 20, but stopped treating it with meds very early on yet prior to being pregnant at 30 started experiencing hyperglycemia. I have currently went to a doctor that just established I'm merely pre diabetic/glucose intolerant and since I lost the weight must have put the type 2 in remission. I have since went to a new ob gyn that took down a new history and did not include the insulin because I was not currently taking it. However, this ob gyn has my old records. Considering the adressograph from the previous ob gyn can I be reported to DCF for prental neglect/abuse? Is taking insulin that isn't prescribed to you while pregnant abuse/neglect? It appears I took it while pregnant but did not. I did clarify this to my ob who has not said anything since. Regardless, I just worry because taking insulin is risky and don't want to look reckless. Do they even regard your past folder?

I've got the omni plant, and figured out what it does.
