Does the discovery of the missing link(Ida) in Germany, change or alter the "out of Africa" theory?

If Ida is Truly the missing link then does this change the "out of Africa " theory of human development. It may be that humans originated outside of Africa and then migrated to Africa and evolved into -sapians. We know that Lucy was not fully human. And we know that Ida certainly is not fully human. So the question is.....is the " out of Africa theory written in stone or is it open to interpretation?
