Why is my boss like this?

okay so i recently well awhile ago started working at starbucks,. on my review i recieved a nine cent raise which i feel was not adequate. i later learned people who were far less good workers than me recived a 18 cent raise. my boss has not liked me since day one and other people have noted to me that she doesnt like me and has beef with me. i have never been promoted though i feel i am a better employee than many others that have been promoted. i am one of the strongest members of the team.. and yet my boss felt she had to low ball me in my review. i have no idea why she doesnt like me but my guess is that she is froma very poor background and i am not. i had a very well paying job before and am well travelled have a nice car etcetera. anyways i am definately singled out. this manager is a bad manager as well that has multiple times been trheatened for her mistreatment of employees. can any one give me feedback or let me know im not the only one?
