Why won't my cat leave me alone!!!?

My cats are the same way. One cat is 10 years old and one cat is 1 1/2 years old and they're both very clingy, especially the 10 year old. She was like my first baby and my mom thinks that she knows I'm pregnant so she's getting jealous and is trying to spend all her time with me. She's not allowed in the dining room but nowadays she sneaks in and will jump on one of the chairs and sit at the dining table with me. If I don't brush and play with her for 30 mins a night she sits by the gl door in her room and will wait for me. I feel bad because she's my first baby lol. The 1 1/2 year old is a little more feisty and if anyone gets near my belly he will scratch or bite them. Like he's protecting me and baby or something. Try just spending more waking hours with your cat and she may be less clingy. Also, animals have feelings too. Don't let her think you forgot about her or will give her less attention because you're pregnant. Shutting her out may make her more clingy. Animals are very smart. Good luck!
