Do you also reject art because of the many hoaxes that have been perpetrated? FAR more than have been perpetrated in science. Those who have attempted to perpetrate a hoax in science have been ostracized by other scientists, no longer allowed to publish anything. They are destroyed professionally. Every scientist has spent many years and a lot of money becoming qualified to discover the truth about the natural world, and will not tolerate anyone who attempts to conceal the truth or propagate a hoax.
