When was you first Dr. appointment?

I will be 11 weeks on Wed. and my first Dr. appointment is not until Aug. 9th. I just don't even feel pregnant because I have not don any blood work or ultrasounds or anything. Is this norma to go to the Dr. so late? On my first appointment I will be about 16 weeks.
