Do blockbuster check disc after people return them?

for people who have scratch games (especially if you have an xbox 360) people do the old switch-a-roo routine i'm wondering if you do it to a game that has a different disc label compared to the different label they had for rent a blockbuster though its still the same game will they check the last person who rented it and get into trouble for it?
