Why does Sheldon hate Protestants so much?

I mean, most of his answers he slams Protestants, while glorifying the Catholic church. Saying Catholics are the most hated religon and he makes no attemt to hide the fact he hates anyone who is not Catholic. I want to know Sheldon, how does this glorify God?
