How can i leave my obsessive boyfriend once and for all?

How can i get away from an obsessive boyfriend who is way to dependant and demanding, he acts like a spoiled child. I cant give him what he wants because hes muslim and Im white. Ive been trying to leave him for a while but honestly its very difficult. One day I love him with all my heart and one day I cant stand him and his views. Im very torn, he starts fights every single day, keeps me up on the phone arguing till 2 am when I have cl the next day. Then gets mad at me for going to sleep, he cries all the time and he is so emotionally unstable b/c he was abused very badly and his parents are basically crazy. Part of me sees this sad little boy then part of me sees a psychopath! Yet i still LOVE him. ugh........I dont know what to do, honestly this is very hard its not that easy to just leave him.......I truly care about him, and he DOES treat me very well minus all the fighting. Lately hes been crying evry day saying that he cant stop thinking about me hes flunking school, he cant sleep or evn eat because he cant stop thinking about me, he says the only time hes happy with when were together. His parents aree going to the middle east for a month and he wants me to stay at his house with him, im scared hes just gonna be mad the whole time. Please help with this terrible situation on top of it hes actually the hottest guy i have ever seen in my life, and has the best , just to give more details.
